Native Vancouverite Christina Kasperczyk has taken her visual storytelling around the world. Thanks to her multi-lingual European hertiage, she has been able to travel, camera in hand, throughout Europe, Malaysia, South Africa, Costa Rica and many other countries. With family in the Okanagan, Kooteneys and Europe, she has continually sought adventure within her artistic medium.

She began her career in media design for training and education, and soon made her way into commercial media. This led to a successful transition into camera operating for film and television.

Christina worked her way through film's competitive ranks, from camera trainee to camera operator. She has been extremely active in the film community for over 20 years, including serving on the executive board of IATSE 669 for 13 years and standing as vice president for the past two terms. Though she has had fascinating opportunities to work with celebrities and in exotic locations, she has continued to support Canadian filmmakers with her skills, including a 2009 Director's Guild of Canada Kickstart film. She has also remained committed to supporting charities through her work, including Breast Cancer Research and AIDS Awareness Campaigns and The Seycove Silent Auction.

Alongside her continued success with motion picture cameras, Christina has never left behind her love of still photography. Whether shooting stills in Bormio, Italy for the World Cup of Alpine Skiing or the Deep Cove Classic Regatta in British Columbia, she is passionate about telling a story through pictures.

In order to fuel this love of images, Lumin Pictures Inc. was created. The goal is to bring an elegant and editorial approach of visual story telling to celebration, portrait and event photography.
